Man Utd vs Chelsea

So Man Utd destroyed Chelsea this weekend in a really open attacking game. First of all Hernandez must be living proof that dreams can come true. Brought in as a future maybe player hes knocked a 30 Million pound Berbatov to the bench and stole the show on numerous occasions and in big games. Hes score 20 goals in his debut season and at 6 Million hes probably the bargain of the century. As for Torres, again crap, makes me so happy to say that.

Now the game itself was amazing to watch, both teams attacked each other from the start but Man Utd just seemed to want it that little bit more and i think this is the reason why we won. Hernandez's goal early on killed the game for Chelsea. This Man Utd display was as clinical as Ive seen, every player had a job and they did that job amazingly well.

19 League Titles is 1 point away from us and i cant wait to be able to rub it in every Liverpool supporters face...

Bin Laden was an Arsenal Supporter

As you might just have heard, Osama Bin Laden is dead. The demise of the al-Qaeda leader ends a 10-year manhunt during which, bizarrely, he was outed as an Arsenal fan and, horrifically, as the mastermind of a plot to assassinate the England football team. Here we track Bin Laden's football connections.

1) When, shortly after the 9/11 attacks, reports emerged claiming Bin Laden had supported Arsenal during his time living in London in 1993-'94, Gunners officials responded by banning the terrorist leader from their ground. Said a spokeman in November 2001: "We've seen the reports in the papers. Clearly he wouldn't be welcome at Highbury in the future."

2) Bin Laden wasn’t really much of an Arsenal fan, though. According to biographer Adam Robinson, he only attended four matches while in England looking for funds to finance his operations. However, they happened to coincide with the Gunners’ run to the European Cup-Winners’ Cup final and included a 3-0 win against Standard Liege (but he really should have gone away, where Arsenal triumphed 7-0) and a 1-0 semi-final second leg win against Paris St Germain which set up the final against Parma. Other biographers insist he only attended the PSG game, in which Kevin Campbell scored.

3) Bin Laden left London shortly thereafter, ducking extradition to Saudi Arabia. However, he’s said to have been so impressed that he brought back an Ian Wright replica shirt for his son Abdullah. Robinson claims Bin Laden once told a friend he had never experienced such a passionate crowd as at Highbury, leading to questions about whether he actually went there in the first place.

Man Utd vs Arsenal and a Rant Against Chelsea

What a disappointment this weekend as Utd crashed to 1-0 loss against Arsenal at the Emirates. A very below par performance from Utd against a very young Arsenal team who I believe played well above their ability. Arsenal had nothing to loose and no pressure on there young shoulders, resulting in a very fluid display from them. I think Sir Alex was playing for a draw and I think this was the right approach but in the end the gamble didn't pay off. I also think it was a mistake to take Ando off and let Park operate in the middle of the pitch as it was his bad marking that allowed Ramsey to score.

As I've said before Chelsea must be the luckiest team in England as both their goals against Tottenham should have been ruled out, one for offsides (It was hard to judge but shouldn't have stood) and the other was ridiculous, first Gomez let a simple catch slip through his legs and then as he stopped it from rolling over the line the linesman gave the goal from about 15 meter up the pitch and as the law states if the linesman cannot 100% see the ball cross the line, then he cannot give the goal.

So ranting over... hopefully Utd destroy Chelsea at Old Trafford next week. As for Schalke, I think we'll win it easily.

Man Utd vs Schalke

A great win for Utd, we punished Schalke from the first whistle and never looked like conceding. After the first half I'm sure every Utd supporter was raging with frustration at our dominance without scoring, Neuer was amazing and really bummed we haven't managed to sign him for next year as he looks like a real deal replacement for Van 'The Man'.  If it wasn't for Neuer's brilliance we would have score five goals I'm sure. In the end we did score and it was the great Giggsy who placed the ball through Neuers legs after Rooney drew three opposition player and fed a brilliantly weighted through ball. Rooney then scored a goal himself after much the same from Hernandez. The Man Utd team is firing on all cylinders now and I'm really please we got all our big games now that we on top form so bring on Arsenal, bring on Chelsea and bring on Real or Barce.

Man Utd vs Newcastle

Poor poor finishing cost us the game again. Man Utd created more clear cut chances then Ive seen them create the whole season but couldn't find the back of the net, every chance fell straight into the hands of Tim Krul or went wide. Besides for the opening 15 min of the game Utd dominated with chance after chance being created and missed. There were 3 appeals for a Utd penalty and 1 for Newcastle although i don't believe Hernandez appealed for the last penalty claim that he received a yellow card for, for diving, so don't know why he got a card. Anyway i think Newcastle and Man Utd both had a legitimate penalty turned down, so karma there. Newcastle produced a good display for 15 min but weren't able to create much as it took Utd a bit of time to settle, they had 4 corners in that time and had a half chance here and there but their quality of finishing was lacking. Hernandez and Rooney had  a great understanding between them and i think this partnership is going to thrive. Utd 1 touch football was amazing and although we didn't win the positives were there to be seen.

FA Cup Semi

Man Utd lost this weekend end to Man City which has had me so pissed off that i haven't been able to comment until now. Any the game was good, not great just good. Berbatov could have and should've had Utd up by 1 goal in the opening minutes but a great save from Hart denied him when he was one on one with goal keeper, i still think he should've scored though and some how managed to kick the ball over the net when it was easier to score. I really cant forgive him right now. Besides for that opening spell Utd were second best the whole game Scholesy and Berba were poor for me the whole game and we couldn't get control of the ball for more than a second. Man City were definitely the better team in the game and deserved to win. As much as they deserved to win it was a very poor piece of defending by Carrick, gifting the ball to Toure for a great finish. I would have loved to see Ando start as its extremely hard to seal with the pace of Toure and De Jong. Utd had there chances in the final minutes to grab a goal but unfortunately we failed to do so and can look forward to Champions League and The Premier League. Last time we lost in the FA Cup Semi we won the League and Champs so come on Utd. As for Balotelli what a tool.

The sprint to the finish has started.

Another great win for Utd this week, ever question Chelsea posed was answered by a Utd team on top form. Ferdinand and Vidic kept Torres and Anelka quiet all game while Carrick gave Lampard no space to move in. Giggsy was amazing over the two legs and set up all three of Utd goals. The whole season has been great to see a team full of young and old players gelling so well together, Arsenal just young and don't have B.M.T. which comes from experience, Chelsea all old and don't have the legs to carry them anymore while Utd its just about perfect. Players like Carrick and O'shea are coming back into form and its no surprise that this has happened at the same time Valencia, Ferdinand and Park have come back from injury. Man Utd have missed those players all season due to injury, those players including Rooneys current rise in form has taken an under performing team into top gear. Thank goodness we on top form now as we have a string of HUGE games coming up and will need our full squad fit and determined for those games. The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City are all battling now as there players are tiring now due to the end of the season and have had to play in the majority of their matches, where Man Utd have been rotating players all season due to injuries and our huge squad. Valencia, Park and Ferdinand have basically only started their seasons now and are fresh as ever, while players like Owen and Hargreaves could come in at any time to boost our team. Berbatov's been rested for a while and now that Rooneys been band he can also get much needed rest. I believe the seasons end is going to be a cracker. I wont put my money on us winning the TREBLE just yet but we are in an awesome position to do it.

Week Wrap

Haven't Posted for a while. But my golly what a week. I have to say well done to Man Utd for the amazing comeback against West Ham with Rooney back to top form, but what a chop for swearing into the camera. The game against Chelsea was really good also, we attacked so well. I get disappointed when we score and go into defencive mode. Chelsea are a brilliant team and if you defend for long enough they will punish you as they nearly did on plenty occasions. I would rather us attack them more and hopefully we get a goal or they get less time on the ball to attack us. I'm very pleased to see Brown, O'Shea and Ando (scored twice for our reserves) coming back from injury. Ferdinand is back and even though hes been out for two months slipped straight back into the team with no fuss. Eva on the other hand had a disastrous game, probably his worst game for United and was very lucky not to concede a penalty. As for the league, i think after Chelsea and Arsenal drawing this weekend, United have the league wrapped up. The FA cup against Man City's gonna be tuff without Rooney but i think we'll take it, we just want to win more than any other team out there.

A Great Weekend

When all Man Utd supporters were starting to become a little anxious Arsenal go and give us a huge life line by drawing 2-2 with West Brom. a louesy piece of goal keeping allowed Odemwingie to slot the ball past Almunia gifting Man U a 2 point cushion. I really don't have a clue what was going through the Arsenal keepers mind as Squillaci definitely had the ball covered and I'm 99.9% certain that Odemwingie was never gonna create a chance from that position and as for Aaron Ramseys 2 yard miss, what a shocker.

Again United win it late but i feel we created enough chances to finish it off earlier in the game with Rooney again pulling all the strings with his new free role. Berba, Hernandez, Nani and Rooney had good enough chances to score and it was only a matter of time one would go in. Jaaskelainen pulled off a number of great saves and with so many attempts at him, their would be one that he couldn't hold. For a team in injury crisis i feel things are going pretty well. Arsenal are missing 2 defenders and look hopeless. Oh and we playing badly this season.

I though Man City were crap they spent 30 Million Pounds on Dzeko who i feel has one of the worst touches in the world Silva is there only attacking player without Tevez and he has no one to pass to as 9 of the 11 players on Man Citys team don't cross their own half. Chelsea played well but are no where near there best when Torres plays, hes got absolutely no work rate and doesn't even look like he wants to score. I do feel that as soon as Lampard is injured or missing Chelsea are half the team and that a huge worry for them.

Liverpool, well 5th place is all they can look forward to an I'm not to sure they gonna find many classy players who don't wanna play Champions League football. So good luck for next year. This great run of 20 points from 10 games is all good but you would still only be in 2nd place if you had kept it up all season.

Injury Returns

Injury returns. Just some news on players coming back. Obviously Valencias back which is a massive boost but Ando(Probably one of our best players this year) and Hargreaves are apparently training well. So hopefully we'll have a fully fit team soon.

Man Utd Draw Chelsea

So we've been drawn against Chelsea in Quaters which will be nice for us to get our revenge for their lucky win against us.

Man Utd Vs Marseille

A very good performance from Utd as they fought their way into the quarter finals. Rooney was amazing, it was a performance that reminded me of when he first came to Utd. His aggression was back and he fought tooth and nail for the team. It was nice to see him dropping back into the midfield and supporting Scholes and a woeful Carrick. The team dominated possession and were justified in their win. Another great shout out to Van Der Sar who was faultless and is on top of his game. Oh and Hernandez is amazing, 7 million get you a goal ratio of 1 every 80min, and to Chelsea 50 million gets them a goal ratio of 0 every 450min

FA Youth Cup : Liverpool U18 vs Man Utd U18

Another Fa Cup victory for Man Utd this week, this time their U18 team came back from being 2-0 down to win 3-2. Goals from the impressive Cole and Morrison won the game for United in a match that they deserved to win. Both teams finished the match with 9 players due to red cards.

Man Utd vs Arsenal

Great win for Man U. We had a below par team and didnt play very well. Van Der Sar was the main reason for our win as Arsenal created lots of good chances but the Duchman made a string of awesome saves. I though Rooney played very well and would like him to opperate more as a midfield player, i think he could be the next Paul Scholes. Its great that Valencia's back its like we made another signing and his play was also brilliant. So well done Utd for a deserved win.

Champions League Wrap Up

Well done to Tottenham for making it through to the qauterfinals but just like the night before, the English team (Tottenham) battled to get into the game with A.C. Milan showing much more qualitiy on the ball. Now I believe that this is purely because both English teams where so nearvous of allowing the opposition to score that they didnt allow themselves to make forward runs or push high enough up the field. I think when Chelsea and Man Utd play next the tempo and possesion will dfinately be dictated by the English clubs. Also well done to Shalke for getting through many hadnt expected them to get through but as underdogs they've pulled off a great victory.

Come on Tottenham !!!

Hopefully Tottenham can pull this one off. They up against the Italians top club but i think A.C. Milan will be far to weak to stop them. Bale could be back so watch out for him making a few runs down that left side and in my oppinion could get himself a goal tonight. Hopefully there wont be anymore headbutts from the Italians but as with Daniell De Rossie last night anything could happen.

Barcelona vs Arsenal

Well a crappy end for Arsenal in the Champions League. I thought they put up a good fight and in the end didnt deserve to lose. Barcelona were very good on attack but besides for the the 1st goal which was created by a terrible decision from Fabregas there wasnt much threat to the Arsenal goal. The red card definately changed the game, and Arseanl fans can complain all they want, but they wouldnt be as close to Man Utd in the League if it wasnt for decisions like that going against Man Utd in their last two games.

Its UEFA time

Well it Barcelona vs Arsenal.
I think Arsenals gonna take this one with a 1-0 win.
They gonna be to pumped and focused to let Barca break them down and then Arsenal will hit them on the counter

Blackpool Vs Chelsea

A pretty average performance from Chelsea but still got a win. Torres had another shocker with his movement and first touch letting him down on pretty much every occasion. Drogba was definately the star performer. I still dont believe they'll catch Utd though

Comment of the Weekend

For all Liverpool fans who are getting ahead of yourselves.

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish praised his players after the game, but insisted that United remain in the driving seat for the title: "United are still the team to beat. Last time I looked, they were still top of the table, and so, yes, they are the benchmark. Everybody would want to be in the position Manchester United are in."

Weekend Action

This weekend was quite a rollercoaster in the English Premier League. Defoe scored his first goal in more than a year in a 6 goal cracker, Arsenal somehow drew to Sunderland and the Scouse managed to make it a terrible week for Man Utd fans all over the world.
Liverpool vs Man Utd
After defeat to Chelsea, Man Utd had to come out shining against a resurgent Liverpool team but ended up playing as poor as I’ve seen and nothing should get taken away from Suarez assist for the first goal but Man Utd defending was extremely poor, I think Wes Brown was out of his depth and our midfield was utter crap as they have been all season.  With regards to that tackle yes Nani acted like a twat but that was a shocker from Carragher and Rafael should have gotten a red to. I think Fergie has every right to not allow his players to talk to the press as after such a shocking display by the referee in the Chelsea game why should he get charged for stating his views.
